Guide to Wisconsin's State Natural Areas:
Wisconsin Naturally: February 2005
State natural areas protect the last vestiges of Wisconsin's
native landscapes - its prairies and savannas, forests and bogs -
and provide refuge for both comman and rare species of plants and
and animals. WCRP provided funding for the production of Wisconsin, naturally,
a guidebook containing maps, driving directions, and descriptions of 150
of the highest quality State Natural Areas. Hikers, birders, and nature
lovers use the 184-page color guidebook to explore and understand these
unique areas and their inhabitants.
